We evaluated the current app, and working with key stakeholders we identified features which were to be enhanced and updated. Over a period of 2 months we explored and redesigned the overall UI & UX, giving extra love to key features and delivering these outputs over a series of iterations.
Wags supplies automobile, van, and light truck transportation services to customers throughout Northern America.
They were in need of a refresh for their existing mobile application. The app was outdated in terms of content, features and functionality, and was in need of a UI overhaul. Working closely with the production company our scope was ideation, mockups, asset creation and prototyping.
Project Discovery: Through Design Sprints, we iterated ideas and flows with stakeholders, product specialists, and users. The refined, validated design was then handed off to the development team.
Mockups & Assets: To ensure speed, consistency, and scalability, we used existing visual frameworks to design mockups and deliver a refreshed UI. This approach allowed us to focus on key features for vehicle inspections and document management.
Improved Outgating: We enhanced the UX for inspections, checks, and sign-offs, streamlining the process to reduce errors and simplify management.
Vehicle Inspections: We shifted from a UI form-based damage selection to a visual pinpointing method, improving the flow for selecting damage type and severity.
Documentation Sign Offs: We captured approvals at key steps, compiling the content into documentation that meets Government DOT requirements and simplifies admin tasks for users.
